The Clarke Sinclair Memorial Archery Scholarship Corporation is a California Nonprofit Corporation that is dedicated to the development and promotion of competition in elite amateur archery.

The corporation's board members are volunteers and do not receive compensation.  The current board is composed of the following individuals:

  • Lorretta Sinclair, President

  • Cathy Zurn, Treasurer

  • Chris Covellone, Secretary

  • Robert Sinclair, Director

  • Larry Smith, Director

  • Leslie Howa, Director

  • Marilyn MacDougall, Director

Corporate Status

  • The articles of incorporation were accepted by the State of California on 30 November 2004 establishing the nonprofit corporation status
  • The IRS officially granted non-profit status retroactively to 30 November 2004 in December 2005.

Our goal is to put every dollar donated by you towards the support of a deserving archer.  To further this, we're staffed entirely by volunteers and our startup costs have been paid by the directors.  This includes the filing fees, general office expenses, website fees and website maintenance.   

We want to reassure our donors that the directors or the Sinclair family are not benefiting from this corporation financially.  The corporation has adopted and filed a conflict of interest statement that states, “no director or close family member may receive an individual scholarship.”
